Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa) is an astringent bark used in Ayurvedic formulas for leucorrhoea, heavy periods and PCOS support, and externally in face packs. Evidence in people is limited, and it is usually given in combinations prescribed by a vaidya.

  • Lodhra churna or prescribed formula

How to prepare

  1. For internal use, follow your vaidya's prescription.
  2. For skin, mix a pinch with rose water into a paste.

How to use

  • Apply the paste on oily areas for 10 minutes and rinse, once a week.
  • Take internal formulas only for the advised period.
