Multani mitti is a drying clay, so this mask stays on the oily forehead and not on dry cheeks. Crushed mint and rose water loosen the clay into a paste you can spread. Mint can tingle, and the clay can feel tight if you leave it too long.
Rinse before the surface cracks. Do not peel flakes off the skin. This pack does not control oil later in the day and does not treat pimples. If your forehead is not oily, or if mint stings, skip it.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon multani mitti
- 4 or 5 fresh mint leaves
- 2 tablespoons rose water
How to prepare
- Crush the mint leaves and mix them with multani mitti.
- Stir in rose water until you have a soft paste that is not runny and not dry.
How to use
- Wash the face and pat it dry. Spread the paste on the oily forehead only.
- Keep it off the eyes, the lips, and any dry skin.
- Rinse with plain water before the clay cracks, within about ten minutes.

- Crush the mint well so you are not rubbing whole leaf bits into the skin.

- External use only. Do not get the paste in the eyes, and do not eat it.
