Kokum Butter on Dry Feet at Night
A thin layer of kokum butter on clean heels and soles before cotton socks. A traditional emollient for dry feet; not a treatment for cracked heels with infection.

A firm, soft plant butter
Kokum butter is a hard, pale butter pressed from kokum seeds, long used on the Konkan coast for dry skin. It melts on contact with warm skin and is used in a thin layer.
Wash and dry the feet, rub a pea-sized amount over heels and soles and cover with cotton socks. This is a moisturising habit and not a treatment for cracked heels with pain, bleeding or infection.
