Two to Three Drops of Kumkumadi Oil at Night
Two or three drops of a good kumkumadi tailam pressed on clean skin, patch tested first. A traditional glow oil, not a pigmentation treatment.

A glow oil, used in drops
Kumkumadi tailam is a classical Ayurvedic facial oil with saffron as its first ingredient, and it has become a viral night-time ritual. A small exploratory 2026 study of facial skin reported modest changes after short use, but it was small and early, and one study does not make a treatment. It is a nourishing oil for the skin and nothing more.
Use only two or three drops and press them in gently. Patch test on the jawline for a day first. Skip it on acne-prone, broken or very oily skin, in pregnancy unless your doctor agrees, and with allergies to saffron or sesame oil. See a dermatologist for pigmentation or melasma.
