Mulethi Face Pack for Dull, Tired Skin
Licorice root powder mixed with curd or honey as a weekly face pack for dull skin. Studied for skin brightening; patience needed.

Important: this remedy is only a supportive home measure. Keep taking any medicine your doctor has prescribed, monitor your readings, and consult your doctor before adding anything new.
Why mulethi is used this way
Mulethi (licorice root, yashtimadhu) is naturally sweet and soothing, which is why it shows up in throat remedies. It contains glycyrrhizin, which in larger or longer use can raise blood pressure and lower potassium.
Licorice extract (glabridin) is used in many skin-brightening creams and has some research behind it. A home pack of mulethi powder is far milder but makes a pleasant, gentle weekly mask.
