Alsi (Flaxseed) Laddoo for Winter
A small laddoo of roasted flaxseed, jaggery and ghee as a winter snack. Flaxseed is high in fibre; eat one and drink water, and skip if you manage blood sugar without advice.

Important: this remedy is only a supportive home measure. Keep taking any medicine your doctor has prescribed, monitor your readings, and consult your doctor before adding anything new.
A winter seed laddoo
Alsi laddoo is a traditional winter sweet in North India, made from roasted flaxseed, jaggery and ghee. Flaxseed is a source of fibre and plant fats, and warming spices like dry ginger are often added.
One small laddoo is enough, with a glass of water, because flaxseed has a lot of fibre. This is a seasonal snack and not a treatment for any condition.
