A Gentle Plate for a Fasting Day
A small bowl of sama rice or sabudana with cooked potato, peanut and cucumber raita for a fasting day, not too oily and not too late. Not for people on diabetes medicines without a doctor.

Important: this remedy is only a supportive home measure. Keep taking any medicine your doctor has prescribed, monitor your readings, and consult your doctor before adding anything new.
Keep fasting food light
Fasting-day food can easily become heavy and fried. A gentler plate pairs a small portion of sabudana or sama rice with some potato, peanuts and a cool cucumber raita, cooked in little oil.
Eat at regular times, drink water between meals and avoid a late heavy meal. Fasting is a personal choice and this is only a food idea, not a medical plan.
