A Pinch of Javitri (Mace) in Warm Milk
A tiny pinch of crushed mace blade in warm milk at night, a traditional flavouring. Use only a pinch; not in pregnancy, and not a sleep treatment.

Important: this remedy is only a supportive home measure. Keep taking any medicine your doctor has prescribed, monitor your readings, and consult your doctor before adding anything new.
A fragrant spice from the nutmeg fruit
Javitri, or mace, is the lacy red outer covering of the nutmeg seed. It has a warm, sweet aroma and is used in small amounts in biryanis, sweets and warm milk.
Crush a small piece of one blade, a pinch no bigger than a grain of rice, into a cup of warm milk. Do not use more; mace and nutmeg are strong in large amounts. This is a traditional flavouring and not a treatment for sleep.
