Moong and Masoor Dal Face Pack
Soaked moong and masoor dal ground to a fine paste, with a little milk, for a gentle scrub. Rinse in circles, once a week.

A pulse paste for a gentle scrub
Soaked dal ground to a paste has long been used as a gentle scrub in Indian homes. Moong is mild and masoor is a little more cleansing, and together they lift dead skin and leave the face feeling smooth. It does not lighten skin or treat acne, and rubbing too hard can irritate.
Grind the dal very fine and strain if needed so no coarse bits scratch the skin. Rub very gently in small circles, rinse well and use once a week. Patch test first. Skip it on broken, sunburnt or very sensitive skin.
