Pippali, Mulethi and Honey Lick for a Lingering Cough
A tiny pinch each of pippali and mulethi powder in honey, licked slowly twice a day for a few days for a lingering cough in adults.

Important: this remedy is only a supportive home measure. Keep taking any medicine your doctor has prescribed, monitor your readings, and consult your doctor before adding anything new.
Using pippali sensibly at home
Pippali (long pepper) is a slender, catkin-like pepper that is sharper than black pepper. With dry ginger and black pepper it forms trikatu, Ayurveda's classic warming trio.
This combination echoes classical cough formulas such as sitopaladi and yashtimadhu churnas. Pippali is warming and mulethi soothing. A cough lasting more than three weeks needs a doctor and possibly a chest X-ray.
