Bajre ki Raab, a Warm Winter Porridge-Drink
Bajra flour roasted in ghee and cooked with jaggery, dry ginger and a pinch of pepper into a warm drink. Hearty, so a small cup.

A winter drink that is nearly a meal
Raab is a thick, hot drink from Rajasthan made in cold weather by roasting bajra flour in ghee and cooking it with water, jaggery and spices. It is warming and filling, almost a meal in a cup. It is a tradition and not an immunity treatment or a cold remedy.
A small cup is enough. Keep the jaggery in check, and skip the drink if you manage blood sugar, weight or digestion problems with heavy food. Make it fresh and drink it warm. It is not for warm weather.
